She is an icon to millions thanks to her Playboy days and her starring role on Baywatch.
But Pamela Anderson has only just been awarded her first ever Vogue cover, starring in the new issue of?Vogue Czechoslovakia in a sizzling sixties style shoot.
Photographed by?Dan Beleiu, the stunning images show the blonde bombshell, 51, posing against the beautiful backdrop of Cassis in France.
The cover line “Who Wants to Kill Pamela Anderson?” references the shoot's inspiration - the 1966 Czech cult film Who Wants to Kill Jessie? starring Olga Schoberova.
The retro styling sees Pamela posing with bouffant hair as she lounges on her stomach on the edge of a jaw-dropping infinity pool.
Showing off her famous curves, the beauty is dressed in a bright print shirt and bikini bottoms.
Another stunning shot shows Pamela shot in profile as she stares out to sea while dressed in sheer black shirt, which flashes a hint of her tanned skin.
A third image shows the actress crawling across rocks toward the camera while rocking red satin heels and glam curled locks.??
The accompanying interview sees a candid Pam asked about her sex symbol status, which she calls 'a cliché.'
'Every girl wants to feel sexy. I think of myself as a socialist feminist. I love men. I don’t like authority,' she added, before offering some advice: 'Be careful who you share your weaknesses with. Some people can’t wait for the opportunity to use them against you.'?
Of the trolls and critics the defiant star insisted 'I try not to listen. I realize there is an image of me. That over the years evolved to a kind of cartoon.'
'But people can’t really believe it to be who I really am. It’s hard to accept it. I’m always in a ridiculous battle - to convince people that I have something to say. And even people closest to me try to protect me.'
' “Don’t use this photo it’s too sexy”. “Don’t do this”. “Don’t do that”. F**k off! Let me be me. I’ll tell you who that is!'
The star admitted she knows her looks will fade with time, but so far she's been 'lucky'.?
'It’s not the easiest thing. My mother warned me all about it. How one day you’d look in the mirror and not recognize yourself. Your hair would thin (not in my case). My neck would go next, she said.'
'I’m lucky so far but definitely feel it. I don’t want to chase youth. It’s funny how youth chases me. I’m hard to keep up with.'
